Pope Francis will visit Belgium from September 26 to 29 for the 200th anniversary of KU Leuven. During that weekend, on September 28, a Christian event called Hope Happening will be organised at Brussels Expo. You can also stay overnight to attend the final Mass with the Pope the next morning at King Baudouin Stadium. This event is an amazing opportunity to connect with Christians and learn more about Christianity.
During HopeHappening, various activities will be organised to deepen your faith and worship the Lord, including a Christian music festival and workshops. As a Christian, it's a wonderful place to meet other believers, make new friends, praise God and deepen your understanding of the faith.
Even if you do not believe, you are more than welcome to attend this event. It is a great opportunity to learn about Jesus and experience God's love is. The various workshops, believers and thought leaders will provide educational and inspiring experiences for everyone. If you want to attend, please register quickly as registrations will close on September 6. A ticket for HopeHappening costs €20, and if you wish to stay overnight, the ticket costs €25.
As a Christian campus community, we also plan to go as a group. That way, we can experience the pilgrimage, making it less terrifying than going alone.
